Hi! I'm Paula a business management graduate at University of Santo Tomas and I just want to share my experience in putting up my first siomai franchise business. Since I was a child until now, my parents always teach me to build my own income generating system to make a living and that is business. One time I was eating this at the park, something came in my senses that I would like to try to do this business since I like it very much.

    Kidding aside, hamburger is also delicious but it depends on what type of patty and from where you bought your hamburger. Almost every street food is fried to lessen the spoilage time and it is easy to cook that way rather than steaming or maybe dish with soups. Better to keep your consumption moderately to keep your heart healthy and your blood pressure to normal levels.

       At the steamer, our humble siomai is getting softer and the tasty aroma is flying around to look for a starving individuals. I think it is me, lol. Filipinos can make any food into "ulam" adding rice is the key to have a heavy meal on the go and our steamed meat is a perfect menu for a budgeted lunch or dinner. Combined with the Philippine lemon, calamansi is one of the favorite dip of Filipinos but it can also be a tamarind, young mango, kamias or any local fruit that is sour sprinkled with soy sauce. Try eating out with your friends together with siomai I am sure you will have more eating to do and smile about.

Siomai Kid Story

   I remember the days when me and my after school and other activities we do, we always look for a good spot to eat. My friend Mikaela's choice of food is rice meal with toppings plus she cannot eat without a soft drink beside her and it's funny because I never really saw her drink water ever! Mean while, my batch mate Romano just unzipped his bag where he get his prepared snack or meal by her mama, that is what he calls her mom even though he is 20 yrs old giggles.. Anyway he will just be surprise if he likes the food or not but mostly his packed lunch is delicious and he shares it to us. 

   I personally go out everyday to look and buy food to stop my belly from crumbling and my personal choice is siomai. I like its soft texture and an additional plus of a squeezed calamansi to each piece i eat. I seldom order rice to combine in my peaceful lunch, I want to cut off some weight so I continuously eat small frequent meals each and everyday Monday to Sunday. 

    I want to franchise one day of this siomai as we all see it is a good business right? It is all over manila and also in big provinces in Luzon, Visayas, Mindanao and it is not bad to try and make a fortune with it.
